Under the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act, the government is set to invest over $52 billion to rejuvenate computer chip manufacturing and drive research and development in the country. The funding includes $1.6 billion in loans, with a total investment of approximately $12.5 billion expected through a mix of public and private funds. This initiative is projected to generate 1,500 manufacturing jobs and 9,000 construction jobs over the next decade, fostering economic growth and stability.
