18 Students and Teacher Hospitalized After Experiment
In an unexpected turn of events at Vena Stuart Elementary in Gallatin, Tennessee, a science experiment involving dry ice went awry, resulting in the hospitalization of 18 students and a teacher. The incident occurred during a third-grade class activity with an outside presenter.
According to reports, several students began feeling ill after the experiment, prompting school administrators to contact emergency services. As a precautionary measure, all individuals involved were transported to the hospital. Fortunately, everyone was released later in the day and deemed to be in good condition.

Sumner County Schools’ Director, Scott Langford, expressed gratitude for the rapid actions taken by school staff and emergency responders. Langford emphasized that student safety was a top priority and commended the swift response that ensured the well-being of all individuals involved.
