Dye Speaks Out on Controversial Arrest Incident
Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari’s ex-boyfriend, comedian Jeff Dye, has confirmed the incident that led to his arrest. Dye addressed the issue during an appearance on the “Smoochie Town with Marco DelVecchio” podcast, shedding light on Cavallari’s motivation for sharing the story.
The Story Unfolded
Cavallari had previously shared her side of the story on a podcast released in October. She recounted meeting up with an ex (later confirmed to be Dye) for coffee. However, she was left waiting for 20 minutes before he arrived, allegedly appearing disheveled and smelling of alcohol.
While waiting for their drinks, a police officer approached them, inquiring about their mode of transportation to the coffee shop. Cavallari confirmed they had driven separately, leading to her ex being pulled aside by the officer. To her surprise, he was then handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.
Dye’s Perspective
Dye, corroborating Cavallari’s account, explained that he had been running late due to oversleeping and crashing his car. He clarified that his vehicle had spun out of control, crashing into a pole. Dye emphasized that he wasn’t intoxicated but admitted there might have been traces of alcohol in his system.
Reflecting on the incident, Dye expressed regret and acknowledged it as the worst day of his life. Despite his hopes of reconciliation with Cavallari at the time, he now firmly states that he would never consider getting back together with her.
A Casual Relationship Comes to an End
Cavallari and Dye were first photographed together in October 2020, following her divorce announcement. However, their relationship was reportedly casual, and by February 2021, it appeared to have ended.
This incident has caused quite a stir, shedding light on the turbulent dynamics between the reality TV star and her ex-boyfriend. With Dye’s confirmation of the arrest story, the saga continues to captivate public interest.
