Dermatologist’s Warning
“Now we’ve tried a little Botox on your upper face, which has not gone that well,” dermatologist Dan Belkin shared on “The Martha Stewart Podcast.”
Unnatural Look
“Oh, I don’t like that at all. My eyebrows kind of go up in a V, and that looks so unnatural,” Stewart admitted. “Because I don’t have lines in my forehead.”
Candid Conversation
Stewart wanted to candidly speak out about aging and staying youthful, as fans continue to comment on her social media photos. She shared, “Everybody is so interested when they see a selfie of me posted on the internet. So many comments are ‘Did she get work done?’ and ‘Who did it, when did I have it done?’ And all this and how much retouching is on the photograph.’ And I just want to set the record straight.”
Hard Work and Healthy Lifestyle
Stewart confessed that she rarely thinks about her age but added that she doesn’t “want to look my age at all.” She emphasized her dedication to exercise and a healthy diet. “I work hard at my exercise, I work hard at my diet, which is a very healthy, normal diet. I don’t do fad diets, and I don’t do any pills or anything like that. But I just eat really well, and I watch what I eat. That’s really, I think, a secret.”
Conservative Approach to Fillers
Stewart’s dermatologist uses fillers on her “conservatively” and opts for biostimulatory fillers over regular hyaluronic acid fillers. He also performs skin tightening treatments, including Ulthera, to help Stewart maintain a youthful appearance.
Embracing Aging
At 82 years old, Stewart has a positive perspective on aging and is “living to the absolute fullest.” She doesn’t dwell on her age or the idea of slowing down or retiring. Instead, she focuses on living gracefully and embracing life to its fullest.
Making History
Last year, Stewart made history as the oldest woman to appear on the cover of “issue.” Her journey serves as an inspiration to many.
