Criminal Protective Order Issued Against Suspect
A judge has set bail at $75,000 without prejudice in the assault case involving actor Charlie Sheen. The judge also issued a criminal protective order against the suspect, Electra Schrock. Sheen’s representatives have yet to respond to the request for comment from Fox News Digital.
Transportation Issues Delay Court Appearance
Initially, Schrock was supposed to be released, but due to transportation issues, she remains in custody at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, unable to make a court appearance in Van Nuys.
Assault Incident in Western Malibu
Deputies responded to an incident in western Malibu on December 20th after receiving a battery/disturbance call. Sheen was identified as the victim of the assault, and Schrock was subsequently arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury, and residential burglary.
Details of the Assault
Law enforcement sources revealed that Sheen heard knocking on his door and, upon opening it slightly, found his neighbor, Schrock, standing there. Schrock allegedly pushed her way into Sheen’s home, grabbing at his neck. Sheen tried to escape, but Schrock pursued him, assaulting him multiple times and ripping his shirt before he could get away.
Prior Felony Charges Against Schrock
In addition to the current felony assault charge against Sheen, Schrock was previously arrested in March on another felony charge. She was released on $20,000 bond at that time.
