Quick Response from Fire Department
The Houston Fire Department swiftly responded to a fire that broke out at Beyoncé’s childhood home on Rosedale Street. The fire was reported in the early hours of the day, at approximately two o’clock. According to The Houston Chronicle, the fire department arrived at the scene within three to five minutes after receiving the distress call.
“We had it contained in about 10 minutes,” stated Houston Fire Department District Chief Justin Barnes in an interview with the outlet. The efficient response from the fire department helped prevent further damage to the property.
Beyoncé’s Connection to the Home
Beyoncé’s family purchased the home on Rosedale Street back in 1982, and the singer spent her early childhood there. The house holds sentimental value for Beyoncé, who has often paid homage to her roots throughout her rise to fame. Even during her recent Renaissance tour in the city, Beyoncé took the opportunity to visit her childhood home and capture pictures of the house where she once lived.
Safe Escape for Current Residents
Fortunately, the family currently residing in Beyoncé’s childhood home managed to escape the fire without harm. The fire department’s prompt arrival and swift action ensured the safety of the residents.
Investigation Underway
The cause of the fire at Beyoncé’s childhood home is still under investigation. Fire investigators are working diligently to determine the origin and factors that led to the outbreak. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
