Historic Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace, serving as the official London residence of the United Kingdom’s sovereigns since 1837, remains a symbol of historical significance. The palace, now utilized as the administrative headquarters of the monarch, holds immense cultural value.
Previous Security Incidents
This is not the first security incident to occur near Buckingham Palace. In a previous incident last year, just days before the coronation of King Charles III, a man was detained for throwing items, including suspected shotgun cartridges, into the Palace grounds. London’s Metropolitan Police had managed the situation.
