Survivor Tocantis - Week 3 Recap

When we last saw our little castaways?Timbira was returning from voting off Candace and her tatas when Erin realizes she hitched her horse to the wrong wagon. While defending her friendship/alliance with Candace she says she was trying to figure her out and when she did she couldn?t trust her. Now this is the same woman who?about an hour ago (last week for us) at tribal council said she didn?t know these people.

Coach says she has completely insulted our intelligences-she made her bed and now she?s going to have to lie in it.

And the drums begin to play?

Dawn breaks on day 7 with a hacking typhoid Jerry (probably caught strep from Sierra) and Erin now trying to convince tree confessional guy that she wasn?t REALLY in an alliance with Candace.

Jerry (Army Sergeant) skips breakfast stating the beans are upsetting his stomach. This is a man who just returned from eating MREs in Afghanistan and says mama says there?d be days like this (I missed those points)

Meanwhile Jalapao goes off fishing. They toss their giant net into the water in a giant splash chasing off all the fish and catch a couple of minnows?bet they wish they had that grub/queen termite (Hi Lion) Stephen catches his first fish ever.

The scene changes to a breath taking vista and the sweet dulcet tones of the awe-inspiring Jeff begins to explain the challenge. The blindfolded tribes are to grope their way around carrying buckets and led by one tribe mate?s voice. They are to fill their buckets with water and take them back to a ramp to fill yet another bucket which will eventually raise a flag. They then switch to corn and do the same thing?the first tribe will win chairs, blankets and a tarp and send someone from the other tribe to exile dune.

Joe leads his tribe through the obstacles with GPS accuracy while Deb screams ?STRAIGHT? the entire time?

Spencer says ?I know you aren?t talking to me? Not that there?s anything wrong with that.

In his frustration at the loss Coach lets out a primal grunt/scream

Brendan is chosen to go to exile and takes Taj?no shocker there

Coach glares at Jalapao as they carry their gear to camp and says:

We gotta turn it around.

Winners find ways to win and losers find ways to lose we gotta get it together.

Back at Timbira Coach says the biggest thing is to not go off in groups and say Erin really screwed up. That would be the worst thing they could do?.then he goes off with Tyson and says ?Erin really screwed up? WTF? Deb was the one telling people where to move!

Tyson describes Coach as a Coach?isn?t best at what coaching but thinks he knows the most?he likes his voice to be head.

Coach calls Tyson Assistant Coach.

Tyson says Coach has a school boy crush on him?people see that. He loves me. If I keep plugging away eventually I?ll make Coach. Maybe have my own team or co-coach. People will be calling me coach. If we become one tribe I?m going to demand the other tribe call me coach.

Jalapao is having a love fest and egos begin to soar as they hoist the tarp to stay dry that evening.

Coach thinks because Jalapao is dirtier than them that they need the stuff more. He would eat termites, get bitten by snakes, shove his face in the sand. Don?t care about anything but the win

Pep talk 1

At exile Taj gets the clue this time it is surrounded by wood, Brendan says by tree mail. The two sit around deciding who to send to exile if they are picked. They decide on Sierra and Stephen. The two form a secret alliance with Sierra and Stephen. Taj laughs evilly as thunder crashes.

**the editing crew is really good at inserting shots like that into the show?snake shots when someone?s up to no good?spider?s web when someone?s being deceived. It?s like looking for hidden symbolisms in literature (see Ms. Long I really did pay attention in senior lit)

Jalapao awakes refreshed and dry and all full of rainbows and happiness. Sandy declares herself to be a sex kitten making the men roll their eyes and your recapper throw up a little in her mouth.

Immunity challenge is to roll giant crates to tower and arrange them to spell out tribe name on side and then climb to top of tower.

Timbira starts our all gang busters and then forgets how to spell their tribe name. While Jalapao plods along and soundly defeats Timbira. At the end of the challenge Jerry states that he if finished.

Coach is upset that Erin thinks she is staying. He pulls his assistant coach off to side to over their orders since Tyson is now a General

When talking with Sierra Coach says ?I exist to surround myself with people of integrity. I can?t exist around people like that?you guys can cause you socialize with them, but I am so true that existing around people that smile evilly when somebody else is on their knees kills me. I can?t even look at her. I can?t walk by her at camp.

At least he didn?t say she was a cancer on the tribe.

Sierra says she is not going to sever off another limb for his vendetta. When I was sick they wanted to vote me out so as much as I like Jerry I?m not going to be stupid

Brendan goes off on Idol hunt and finds it by tree mail. He then does something intelligent. He hides it under a rock and not in his bag that can be gone through. Tyson has a snidely whiplash moment thinking about Erin crying over being blind sided

By a romantic fire with the light twinkling in his stunning eyes Jeff asks Brendan about communication?he says they do while Jerry shakes head no and throws Erin under the bus and says that Brendan should be their leader.

Coach says he is playing devil?s advocate in saying if Brendan?s the leader he has to take the reins. ?I?m not saying I?m leader but on truck I was making eye contact with everybody. The reason it went so smoothly was I basically told everyone with my eyes to get what you need to get?

Jeff: sounds like you should be leading

Coach: I love to be leader that?s what I am used to

Erin: role he?s used to. Role he likes. Brendan does it better.

Coach criticizes Brendan saying they lost 3 in a row and Erin said that because of their personality conflict.

Jeff calls coach passive/aggressive and says it sounds more like Coach is struggling with his ego

Coach says he would rather be assistant coach than stroke his own ego?.he was just justifying why he should be leader.

When the votes are tallied it is Jerry sent packing?.as that snarky host says this vote according to you was about making the tribe stronger?.only time will tell?

Sorry it?s short this week?.I have to work at 5 in the morning so I am trying to get this in before bed. Feel free to fill in any missing words?.bite me biggie ?
